Supply and installation of streetscape measures

The Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body (SPCB) is seeking to appoint an experienced organisation to supply and install a range of streetscape measures to approximately 300 metres of the perimeter of the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh. The range of works and services to be provided will include:

• The supply and installation of bespoke precast concrete street furniture, rated to meet PAS requirements.
• The supply and installation of bollards which will consist of fixed, removable and rising types, all of which will require to achieve a PAS 68 rating.
• The removal of elements of the existing street furniture.
• Reinstatement of various surface finishes matching existing surfaces.
• Liaison with and the management of works required by Public Utilities to facilitate the above installation.
• The possible alteration to and installation of electrical and control cabling associated with elements of the works.
• Undertaking all of the civil engineering work associated with the above installation.
• Co-ordination and management of all of the above including that of proposed sub-contractors. Liaison with the Local Authority as required.
• Maintenance of rising bollards and repair and replacement of damaged bollards/precast units

This requirement is subject to planning consent and the results of PAS 68 testing of the bespoke precast units.
