Sheffield: Highways maintenance

- Sheffield City Council is advertising for a contractor to provide a "fence to fence" highway maintenance service as part of a PFI maintenance project. The works will include ongoing maintenance, replacement and renewal of carriageways and footways as well as associated signs, traffic signals, bridges and other structures.

Wales: Office construction
- Value: £8m
- Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council is looking to extend and refurbish its Grade II offices in Ebbw Vale. The refurbished building must include office, exhibition, education and recreational spaces, while the two storey extension must provide archive storage facilities, office space, conservation space and docunment treatment areas. The contract includes external works including a public square, car parking and infrastructure works.

Glasgow: Car park construction
- Value: £6m
- NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a contractor to construct a five storey car park. The building will be in the grounds of the Southern General Hospital site in Glasgow.

London: Bank construction
- Value: £5m
- The Bank of England is advertising for a contractor to construct a new secure business space in the place of a redundant facility. The work will be in two phases within an existing occupied building in Essex with restricted access. Work will commence in Autumn in the form of a project partnering contract.

Chichester: Museum construction
- Value: £4.5m
- Chichester District Council is advertising for a contractor to build a museum designed by Keith Williams Architects. The building has piled foundations with reinforced concrete walls, floor slabs and roof slabs. Externally the building is clad in reconstructed stone and part rendered.
