May Gurney has won a £1.9m deal to build a new recycling and reuse centre in Essex.
The scheme for the local council in West Thurrock is due to finish at the end of the summer.
It is expected to deal with 25t of waste a year and is intended to reduce the amount of household waste going to landfill. The reuse centre can be used to refurbish and re-sell discarded items such as furniture and bicycles.
