Barratt appoints David Thomas as new finance director

Barratt has announced that it is bringing in a new finance director. He is David Thomas and will take over from Mark Pain on 3 August.

Thomas arrives from Game which Barratt describes as the largest specialist retailer of PC and video gaming products in Europe. He has been both finance director and deputy chief executive at Game.

Previously Thomas was finance director with Millennium Hotels.

Bob Lawson, chairman of Barratt said: “Mark Pain made an outstanding contribution in an intensely difficult market.”
