Willmott Dixon is already preparing itself for an upswing in the hotel and leisure markets, as it creates two new posts to maximise opportunities in the sectors.
Tim Wheeldon, previously development director at the Real Hotel Company (RHC), will join the contractor to focus on its position as a provider of contracting and refurbishment services to the branded hotel market.
Meanwhile Adrian Hill, previously a senior investment manager at Sport England, will start work at Willmott Dixon as leisure sector manager. He will look at new initiatives such as community sport hubs and the increased involvement by the private sector in the provision of public leisure facilities under PFI.
Both Wheeldon and Hill will work out of Willmott Dixon’s Cobham office.
Cobham office managing director Mark Tant said: "Tim and Adrian bring senior level client-side expertise and experience that will help us to make the most of the twin opportunities created by the Olympics and the recovering economy."
