Apollo hires ex-Bovis boss

Apollo Property Services Group has appointed former Bovis Lend Lease chief commercial officer Paul Johnson as its group commercial director.

Johnson replaces Ian Timms, one of the founders of the company, who has retired.

Apollo said that it had brought Johnson in to help increase its ability to manage contracts in the £100m+ range.

Rob McGregor, Chief Executive Officer of Apollo, said: “We are delighted to have attracted someone of Paul’s stature within the industry to Apollo.  His appointment represents my belief that if you want to play in the premiership then you have to get premiership players on board. We expect to make a few more high profile appointments over the next few months.”
