Project managers and designers who have made it onto a major new public sector framework believe the deal could be worth up to £750m.
The 12 firms (see below) on the Buying Solutions framework are expected to save public clients £70m.
Buying Solutions is an executive agency of the Office of Government Commerce and the new framework is designed to provide a 'one-stop shop' for design services on major public work programmes.
Chris Lane, category lead at Buying Solutions, said: "Buying Solutions provides the procurement support and expertise our customers in the public sector have come to expect.
"We have no doubt that they will provide excellent levels of support and value for money to our customers over the life of the framework agreement."
Faithful + Gould is one of the firm's on the list. Director Stephen Hateley said: "We understand that strong project management is not a 'bolt on' service but a stand alone discipline that will invariably be the difference between success and failure."
