Balfour Kilpatrick and Haden Young combine for new Balfour arm

Balfour Beatty, has combined Balfour Kilpatrick and Haden Young to form the new Balfour Beatty Engineering Services division.

The new M&E services are will have revenues of £600m, Balfour Beatty said in a statement this morning.

Balfour Beatty Engineering Services managing director, John Moore, said:

“Balfour Beatty Engineering Services is the largest organisation of its type in the UK, offering a range of services and capabilities unique in the mechanical and electrical market. 

"It combines the strong positions already occupied by Balfour Kilpatrick and Haden Young in the regional M&E, healthcare and education, power systems and power project markets and provides one point of contact for customers."

In May ContractJournal.com revealed that Balfour Kilpatrick was planning to cut 60 jobs in the North West.
