Keltbray buys Gamble Rail

By Andrea Klettner

Keltbray has acquired ailing firm Gamble Rail from MCR Corporate Restructuring for an undisclosed sum.

The demolition firm said the move, which has saved 170 jobs, would allow it to offer rail solutions to clients.

Horsham-based Gamble provides track maintenance, renewals and holds a rail plant operating company licence. The firm went into administration earlier this year following a series of cash flow problems.

It had contracts with clients including London Overground and Network Rail.
