A joint venture including Kier Construction, Murphy Group, Interserve Project Services and Mouchel has won a water maintenance contract extension with United Utilities worth £250m.

The venture, KMI Plus, began working with United Utilities in 2002, and has since delivered £630m of new build, maintenance and refurbishment work through its ‘Non Infrastructure Capital Delivery’ framework over AMP3 and AMP4.

The renewed deal will last throughout AMP5 until 2015.
