Trak Group in administration

Hemel Hempstead-based Trak Group has gone into administration.

The company, which reported a £33m annual turnover in its last set of annual accounts for the year to 31 August 2007, ceased trading on Monday.

James Bradney and Alex Cadwallader of restructuring specialist Bridge Business Recovery is acting as administrator for the firm.

Trak, which was founded in 1995, secured in a contract to build a new £4m synagogue - the Sternberg Centre for Judaism - in London in April, and is also involved in warehouse units Poole, Dorset worth approximately £2m.

It had also just priced in a £10m warehouse in London's SW16 in June this year.

It is not yet known how these contracts will be affected, but it is not thought that the business will be sold as a going concern.

No-one from Trak Group was available for comment.

Yeadon Domes, a separate business which shares two of the same directors as Trak, is unaffected by the administration and continues to trade.
