Portsmouth: Repair and maintenance
- Value: £140m-£300m
- BVT, a joint venture between BAE Systems and VT Group, is advertising for a framework of up to 12 companies to perform maintenance and facilities management over four years. The work, described by the warship builder as "hard facilities management", includes construction, minor works, planned and reactive maintenance, and testing.

Birmingham: Highways maintenance
- Value: £250m
- The Highways Agency is looking for up to four contractors to form its Midlands works framework 4. The work, taking place over one year with the option of a one year extension, will be in and adjacent to Highways Agency areas seven and nine. It will include surface maintenance work, structural work and roadworks. Contractors already appointed on the Agency's MAC contract in area seven or nine will not be considered.

Birmingham: University construction
- Value: £50m-£100m
- Birmingham City University requires a main contractor to design and build phase one of its new city centre campus. The work is part of a wider development to relocate the Gosta Green campus to the new site by 2013. As well as preparatory asbestos removal and demolition, the work involves enabling works, design and construction.

Leeds Leisure construction
- Value: £55m
- Leeds City Council is developing a new indoor arena with a total of 12,500 fixed seats. It is advertising the work as a two stage design and build contract, with the contractor taking over the design from RIBA stage D. Construction is anticipated to begin in November 2010 and be complete by August 2012.

York: Housing
- Value: £12m-£15m
- The Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust wishes to establish a framework for construction work in various locations throughout North and West Yorkshire over a four year period. The precise work levels are not stated but the initial project - 64 houses and major infrastructure works - have an estimated value of £12m.
