Speedy boosts low-level access fleet

By Colin Sowman

Speedy has invested £600,000 in a new range of low level access equipment and produced a low level access guide.

The hire company’s new access fleet includes the articulated Power Tower which has a 5.1m working height and a 250kg basket capacity and the 3.8m/4.5m working height/200kg capacity straight-masted Power Tower Nano. Also joining the fleet is Bravi’s straight masted Leonardo tower (4.9m/180kg) and the Hy-Brid, a compact battery-operated scissor lift with a 4.8m working height and 340kg capacity.

The new kit joins Speedy’s existing fleet of pop-up platforms, towers and podiums.

Speedy has also published a free low level access guide to help customers select the best kit for the job.  In addition to an equipment selector chart, the guide also carries details of recommended safety gear.
