J & S Seddon Building will start work next month of the first of 30 new care homes across the country forming part of a five-year framework deal worth £120m.
Seddon has won a place on the framework for care home provider Bondcare alongside Shaylor Construction.
Both contractors will build 15 developments each with Seddon due to start on a brownfield site in Nottingham in September. The 72-bed design and build project will take 12 months to complete.
Two other sites have also been allocated by Bondcare to Seddon in the West Midlands representing a combined contract value of £12m.
Alan Nixon, managing director of Seddon said: “Winning this partnership is a great boost to us and provides continuity of work for five years.
"This gives both parties the opportunity to maximise the benefits of long term collaborations and the cost value benefits this will bring."
