Caerphilly seeks plant and tool suppliers

Caerphilly County Borough Council is inviting tenders to supply operated and non-operated plant, tools and equipment. The equipment is to be used by members of the Welsh Purchasing Consortium and other public sector bodies with seven other councils expressing an interest in using the framework agreement.

The business on offer is divided into three lots (Non Operated Plant, Operated Plant, and Tools & Equipment) and potential suppliers can tender for one or all of the lots.  The initial duration is three years with a possible one year extension and the award criteria will be on the lowest price.

Suppliers interested in tendering should apply for a pre-qualification questionnaire and between five and 20 companies are expected to be invited to tender before the deadline of 28 September.
