Contractor required for House of Commons asbestos removal

The House of Commons is advertising for a framework of contractors to perform maintenance, including asbestos removal, on the landmark building.

It is looking to contract six firms to take on the work which is expected to last two years.

The contract, worth £1m, includes refurbishment, conservation construction, m&e, security, fire safety and ICT projects across the estate.

Tenders should be submitted by 23 October.
