Clancy Docwra, Barhale Trant and Morrison scoop £600m Southern Water framework

Three groups have been confirmed as framenwork contractors for Southern Water's multi services framework.

Clancy Docwra, Morrison Utility Services and a joint venture of Barhale and Trant Construction are to take on the maintenance, repair and renewal worth between £300m and £600m, depending on OFWAT funding.

The six year deal involves mechanical and electrical improvements at hundreds of Southern Water assets, such as treatment works and pumping stations.

It covers this year and the five-year AMP 5 contract. There is also an option for a renewal for the subsequent five-year AMP 6 framework.
