Ladder additions improve safety

Worksafe Junior is a lightweight access system from Safety-Trim Special Products that can be fitted permanently or temporarily to most aluminium ladders to provide a work platform and extra stability.

The 600mm x 600mm platform attaches to the top of the ladder and has side rails and a chain behind the worker to prevent falls, while allowing both hands to be use on the task. Simple attachments allow the system to be used to access flat roofs or truck beds, span wide apertures, hook over the top of walls and locate against posts and corners.

A removable version is available for aluminium ladders with hollow rungs and there are optional 'feet' that can be added to the bottom of the ladder to improve stability.

The lightweight structures can be attached to most single, two- or three-stage aluminium ladders, costs under £300 and folds flat (either on or off the ladder) for storage or transport.
