Willmott Dixon is considering an appeal its £4.5m fine for cover pricing from the Office of Fair Trading.
The firm said it would “carefully consider” the the OFT’s findings and “contemplate whether any further action is required, including any grounds for appeal”.
The firm, which has now introduced more robust bidding precedures added: “We hope that our customers, our staff and our shareholders will recognise that to have been implicated in this investigation ‘flies in the face’ of everything Willmott Dixon Group stands for.”
