Bobcat's new E14 and E16 mini excavators are designed for hire work, with a thick metal tailgate, steel side covers, blade cylinder protection and a three-roller undercarriage to optimise track life while minimising vibration.
The 1.3t/1.4t (canopy/cab) E14 has a maximum dig depth and dump height of 2.3m and two travel speeds (2.1km/h and 3.5km/h). Its rubber tracks expand from 980mm to 1.33m wide and are powered by a 9.9kW Kubota engine.
Slightly heavier is the E16 which comes in fixed (980mm) and expandable (980mm to 1.36m) width versions.
Both versions are available with a cab or canopy (1.52t / 1.65t) and come with a 9.9kW Kubota engine. They share the 2.9km/h and 4.8km/h travel speeds while the expanding version's longer dipper increases the dig depth from 2.4m to 2.6m and the dump height to 2.65m from 2.53m.
