Pasma, the trade association representing the mobile access tower industry, has published a free A2-size poster showing how to check the validity of its ID photo cards.
Candidates who successfully complete Pasma courses on the assembly, use, inspection and dismantling of mobile access towers are issued with the cards to demonstrate competence to employers and site supervisors. The cards incorporate a number of unique security features, including a hologram and prismatic logo, allowing diligent managers to check if they are current, genuine and valid.
"With some 50,000 cards now issued each year, Pasma is determined to protect the integrity of its card scheme to ensure tower owners and users can continue to have complete confidence in its credentials," said Pasma managing director Peter Bennett.
