Fife Council is seeking a contractor to enter into a partnering agreement to build a new high school in Dunfermline, as well as the option of work to other schools, in a deal worth up to £78m.
But the council said there was no guarantee that the contract would be extended to include works to: Madras College, St Andrews; Kirkcaldy East High School; Auchmuty High School, Glenrothes; and Burntisland High School.
The time limit for tenders or requests to participate is 14 December 2009.
