Arena Housing seeks contractors for £60m framework

Arena Housing has advertised a framework contract worth up to £60m covering construction work across North-West England and Yorkshire.

The framework covers:

• New build general needs housing;
• Affordable family accommodation;
• Homes for people with special needs;
• Refurbishment of properties for general needs housing;
• Retirement villlages.

The framework will run for four years from July 2010, with up to £15m-worth of work available each year. Arena envisages appointing a maximum of six contractors, who must each have an average annually turnover of £40m for the past three years.

The deadline for expressions of interest is 12 December.
