Bus station and link road, BLACKBURN

New bus station, new link road for buses at Freckleton Street and Weir Street, improved bus access at Fielden Street, signalisation of junction of Blackburn Road and Birch Hall Avenue.

Additional Information: This scheme is part of a larger project. Total scheme cost is £20 million. The Council have submitted a business case to the Department for Transport and are awaiting programme entry. No dates for programme entry have been set. Subject to a successful bid the project should begin during the early part of 2011.
