10 chosen for £150m care homes frameworks

Ten contractors have have been named on three care homes frameworks with a total value of £150m.

Client for the three regional frameworks, each worth £50m, is Bedfordshire Pilgrims Housing Association.

The selected contractors for the south and south-west framework, which covers Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and neighbouring counties, are: Castleoak; Wates; ISG Pearce; Leadbitter; Stepnell; and Speller Metcalfe.

The selected contractors for the north and east midlands framework, which covers Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and neighbouring counties, are: Castleoak; GB Building Solutions; Strata Construction; Wates; Stepnell; Leadbitter.

The selected contractors for the eastern England framework, which covers Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and neighbouring counties, are: Castleoak; GB Building Solutions; Jarvis Contracting; SDC; ISG Jackson; Stepnell.

The frameworks involve construction work on residential, nursing, dementia and extra care housing.

The duration of each contract is four years.
