Brunswick Developments Group has received planning permission for its £235m development at Brighton Marina.
Designed by Wilkinson Eyre Architects, the development will include a 40-storey tower, 853 apartments and commercial and leisure facilities.
The development is believed to be one of the most sustainable schemes in the country by incorporating a 100% EcoHomes ‘Excellent’ rating.
Initial plans for the scheme were rejected by Brighton & Hove City Council in November 2005.
However, significant changes to the plans, including a 25% reduction in density and increased public amenity space and more parking, have helped push for its acceptance.
