MJ Gleeson brings in former Barratt fd for place on board

Colin Dearlove has been appointed to the board of MJ Gleeson as a non-executive director.

He was formerly finance director with Barratt Developments. Dearlove will replace Eric Stobart who retires from the Gleeson board at the end of January.

Dermot Gleeson, chairman, pointed to the value of Dearlove’s “considerable experience at Barratt of implementing strategic change, and knowledge of the UK housing market, particularly in the north of England where much of Gleeson’s regeneration business is located”.
