Vp strikes again with £2.9m purchase of Redding Hire

Equipment rental specialist Vp plc has announced its second acquisition in a week, buying Redding Hire for £2.9m.

Northamptonshire-based Redding specialises in hiring shoring products and plant to the construction and civil engineering sectors. The business will continue to operate within Vp and boost its Groundforce division’s geographical network.

Vp expects to expand the range of services offered by Redding.

This latest purchase follows the £4.5m deal to buy U Mole announced earlier in the week. The trenchless technology specialist will operate alongside Groundforce to broaden Vp’s offering to the utility sector.
