Costain unveils record £2bn orderbook

Costain has a record orderbook running to more than £2bn, with the group adding that it is also benefiting from “a strong cash position”.

In a trading update, published this morning, Costain said that trading in the first six months of 2008 had been in line with the board’s expectations.
