Turnover at Wates Interiors is holding up well, despite the downturn in the office market.
The division enjoyed a turnover of £92m in 2007, but is expecting revenue to rise to more than £100m this year.
The firm specialises in office fit-outs for private and public sector clients, and accounts for nearly one-tenth of Wates’ £943m turnover.
A Wates spokeswoman said: “Interiors is headed by Andy Wates and is still performing strongly with turnover this year expected to be at least 10% ahead of last year and in excess of £100m. Things are getting tougher out there, but our core markets are holding up well.”
The division’s London team was recently responsible for winning the division’s largest-ever project – a £20m deal for investment banking space.
