Haymills has emerged victorious in the battle for phase two of the Croydon College tussle, valued at £20m.
Described as a "challenging and extensive" project, the two-stage tender design-and-build job involves structural alteration on the Fairfield campus to allow for two floors to be added to the present two-storey building.
Haymills will build a new four-storey entrance and there will also be extensive refurb work, plus the amalgamation of the existing and new buildings on the campus.
Work starts on 11 August.
