Willmott Dixon wins £33m Kent BSF deal

Willmott Dixon has bagged a brace of school works in Kent totalling £33m in the first wave of the county council's Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme.

Work on the Northfleet School for Girls in Dartford and the Community College in Whitstable is due to start on site this month, with completion on both deals due in 2011.

Willmott is one of promoter Land Securities Trillium/Northgate Education's design and build partners - others include Kier, William Verry and Provian.

Both projects involve new facilities plus the revamp of existing buildings.
