Man injured in electrical accident on building site

A man is in hospital with serious burns after being injured in an electrical accident on a building site in Aberdeen.

The accident happened on Holburn Street at about 11.30am Tuesday.

A Health and Safety Executive spokesman said it was believed the man was working on a refurbishment job when he was injured in an accident involving an electrical cable.

Inspectors will visit the site today.

The man is in a serious condition in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
