The Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) has appointed Galliford Try to redevelop the former site of Gloscat College in Gloucester.

The firm said the £27m scheme had the potential to deliver 350 homes together with employment and community space.

Galliford Try chief executive Greg Fitzgerald said: "We are looking forward to working closely with the Homes and Communities Agency to deliver a new sustainable community on this important heritage site."
