Local firm wins £20m Durham cricket ground redevelopment

Local firm Lumsden & Carroll has signed a £20m contract to redevelop Durham County Cricket Club's Riverside home in Chester-le-Street.

Temporary seating for 4,000 spectators will be made permanent, plus a hotel and conference centre will be built.
