Red Rhino under new ownership after administration

Crusher manufacturer Red Rhino has announced that it was bought earlier this month by Recycling Product, following discussions with its administrators.

The firm is thought to have run into cash flow difficulties despite increasing production over 2007/08.

The Red Rhino range will continue to be produced in Aylesbury and Recycling Product will trade as Red Rhino Crushers.

The man behind the deal is Bryan Eccles, a director of Red Rhino and investor in the company.

Red Rhino managing director Tim Mitchell will not continue in his post under the new regime.
