Miller Construction locks up £23m Tyneside police deal

Miller Construction has scooped a £23m deal to build new police headquarters on Tyneside.

The project is in Wallsend for North Tyneside Area Command, with the main build starting next May and completion due within 24 months.

The scheme includes accommodation areas and a custodial suite of 40 cells.

The new development will replace the existing police station in Alexandra Street.
