Steve Dauncey becomes Highways Agency finance director

The Highways Agency has appointed Steve Dauncey as its new finance director.
 
Dauncey has worked at the Agency for three years, following 14 years in the nuclear industry.

Commenting on the appointment, Graham Dalton chief executive of the Highways Agency said:

"I am delighted to welcome Steve to the Highways Agency Board. He will bring to the role a sound understanding of the Agency's operations as well as wider experience from the private sector."

Dauncey will takes up the new post on 1 February 2009.
