By John Leitch

Scott Wilson, the consultancy group, has made two new senior appointments. Both will report directly to chief executive Hugh Blackwood.

Jerome Munro-Lafon takes the post of managing director of UK and Ireland operations.

He will direct the five UK based sector businesses:

  • road
  • rail
  • buildings
  • environment
  • strategic consultancy.

Munro-Lafon has been with Scott Wilson for 32 years and has been head of the group’s UK South Division since 2005.

John Horgan will become MD of international regional operations and will be responsible for overseeing the continuing growth across the group’s four international businesses in:

  • Asia Pacific
  • Europe
  • India
  • Middle East

Horgan was formerly the head of Cameron Taylor, acquired by Scott Wilson in 2007.

Blackwood said: “These appointments complete a restructuring programme which will set the business up for the next stage of its evolution toward becoming global.”
