Atkins loses finance director Robert MacLeod

Robert MacLeod, finance director of consultancy group Atkins has resigned.

He will depart on 19 June 2009 to join Johnson Matthey group.

Atkins stated that MacLeod's successor will be announced in due course.

“I imagine that an ability to handle a small single-masted yacht will be a must,” quipped one potential applicant, hearing of Atkins’ chief executive Keith Clarke’s penchant for sailing.
