Construction Works, Haringey Council

The London Borough of Haringey invites expressions of interest in framework agreements for construction works from suitably qualified contractors

Companies selected for the framework agreements will be eligible to tender for construction projects carried out by the council.

The value of projects under these framework agreements will vary according to the type and duration of work to be carried out.

The framework agreements will comprise three areas: minor and major building construction works and conservation building works.

the framework agreements for Building Construction Works will cover works of value:

• up to £24,999
• between 325,000 and £124,999
• between £125,000 and £249,999

The framework agreements for Minor Building Construction Works will cover works of value:

• between £250,000 and £999,999
• between £1,000,000 and £3,499,999
• over £3,500,000

The framework agreement for conservation building works will cover works up to a value of £500,00 for conservation projects.

Please note that the maximum annual spend on the framework agreement for minor building construction works cannot exceed 40% of your annual turnover for the last financial year and the annualspend on the framework agreements for major building construction works and the framework agreement for conservation building works cannot exceed 25% of your annual turnover.

The duration of the framework agreements will be 2 years with the option to extend for up to 2 further years.

There will be a "Meet the Buyer" day held on the 2nd of March.

The closing date for the return of pre-qualification questionnaires is 1pm on 20th March 2009

We will issue a pre-qualification questionnaire to all prospective bidders and following their completion, submission and assessment, we will prepare a list and issue full tender documentation.
