Piling and foundation engineer Roger Bullivant is to cut up to 95 more jobs and reduce employees' pay by 10%.
Meanwhile directors are to take a bigger pay cut of 15%.
In an announcement on Tuesday to all employees managing director Rob Brown said: "The company has to deal with this situation in the best interests of the majority of its workforce. Sacrifices will have to be made by all employees but only where there is clear evidence that the measure will have a direct impact on the survival of the business."
In a statement, director John Patch said that it had become clear that the company had to make further cost cuts, following a detailed analysis of the current and predicted housebuilding market.
He added that the commercial and industrial sector, on which the firm is also reliant, had "taken a tumble over the last few months, with little or no prospect of immediate improvement."
The redundancies are expected to come at Bullivant's head office at Drakelow, as well as at other offices and factories nationwide.
