A 20 mm thick wheel, with special cutters at critical positions, enable these units to cut hard wood, smoothly and quickly. The fine chippings generated, are much safer during the operation of the machine, and break down much more quickly, when buried, than larger ones. Such is the drivers view, these machines have been used to sculp garden furniture out of oak stump and boughs. These grinders can reach up or down slopes, dig out roots to great depths, and reach up to standing trees, to grind down from heights no other machines can reach.
