Tender for Replacing Shoreham Harbour Bridge West Sussex County Council (WSCC) invites expressions of interest to tender for the design and construction of a new pedestrian and cycle bridge across Shoreham Harbour by completing a prequalification questionnaire (PQQ). The tender will include obtaining planning permission, preparing the environmental statement, constructing the new bridge and the demolition of the existing bridge. The PQQ will be available to every supplier responding to the OJEU Notice. The questionnaire responses will be evaluated using a weighted scoring system, inability to achieve a specific rating against any of the key criteria will result in exclusion from the evaluation as per PQQ evaluation methodology. The OJEU notice will have indicated the estimated number of suppliers to be invited to tender, and suppliers will be ranked and selected to meet that estimate. Tender for the Master Composter Programme 1 April 2010 to 31 March 2012 The Council is seeking an organisation to manage the Master Composter programme which is an integral part of Norfolk County Council’s waste management policy. It is designed to promote effective home composting, achieve higher participation rates in composting and provide high quality environmental education and to reduce biodegradable waste sent to landfill. The programme aims to raise awareness amongst the wider public of the benefits of composting, to encourage more people to compost at home and to support those who participate in home composting to ensure that they are successful in their home composting activities and achieve maximum rates of diversion. This will help reduce the amount of organic waste going to landfill and help the County Council as waste disposal authority meet its obligations under the EU Landfill Directive.
