ContractJournal.com provides a number of news feeds to keep you up to date with all the latest industry news. The feeds provide the headline and a short introduction / summary to each item of news, together with a direct link through to ContractJournal.com for the full story. Feeds are available for:
News (This feed includes all those listed below, plus some additional items.)
To view the feeds, you need an RSS reader. An RSS reader is a program that will gather together the news of your choice from any number of RSS feeds, keeping you up to date, and providing you with easy access to all your news in one place.
If you don't have an RSS reader on your system already, you might like to try the CJ Desktop Alerts service. It comes with the main CJ news feed ready-installed as an alert and also allows you to add further RSS feeds of your own choice. You can choose to have alerts pop-up when a story arrives, or just to check for content when you want it.
Some email programs and web browsers have built in RSS readers - check out your documentation to find out whether yours is one of these.
Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is an XML-based technology that enables the simple distribution of online content.
CJ provides its own CJ Desktop Alerts service, which incorporates an RSS reader, as well as providing instant alerts to breaking news (the alerts can be turned off if you prefer, so that the program works purely as an RSS reader).
You can find a list of other RSS readers at these third party sites:
Follow the instructions for your particular news reader to set up your choice of feeds. The ContractJournal.com feeds are all listed towards the top of this page - you may need to right click on the links and 'Copy shortcut' or similar to grab the correct address for the feed.
RSS feeds can also be used to syndicate our news headlines onto your website.
We are happy for you to do this, free of charge, providing you meet the following conditions:
Should you wish to reproduce the full text of a story on your company website, rather than just the headline/introduction feeds, please visit RBI Content Licensing Services to seek permission and enquire about fees.
