The race to be the biggest and the best has been going since the age of the Pyramids. In recent years the list had remained fairly constant but with better technology and modern methods of construction we will see the top 3 changing rapidly.
These are the official top 3 tallest buildings in the world.
1) Taipei 101
2) Petronas Twin towers
3) Sears Tower
Although the Sears Tower is often seen as taller than the Petronas Towers the antennas on the Sears Tower are not included in the height. If you disagree, let me know....
