More World War Two bulldozer classics in action

Bob Rocker from Florida has sent in another couple of classic dozer photos from his second world war archives.

In this photo the Seabees are clearing palm trees out for an airstrip on Makin Island in the Gilbert Island Group the last week in November 1943 the dozer is possibly an International TD-18 or a Cat D7.

This photo shows army aviation engineers using dozers to pull a barge in over the reef on Anguar island in October 1944.
Note the soldier just stood on the operators platform!

Gary:

Thanks for the great photos; the top photo is a Cat D-7, bottom: either a Cat D-8 or RD-8. Hard to tell what the remain three behind the "8", perhaps another D-7 or two, the far one has little detail to tell. Appears their task is pulling the barge.
