News reaches me this week that the Considerate Constructors Scheme has a stalker. That’s the trouble with printing your phone number all over banners on construction sites.
Apparently a mystery admirer has taken to calling from public phone boxes for a chat. Among other common weird calls are people ringing up to try and buy a flat, and would-be social housing tenants trying to get the list for whatever development they have seen the CCS banner pinned to.
Still I’m sure those folk down at the Considerate Constructors Scheme are probably able to take it in their stride. Which is lucky really - if people tried calling me with stupid questions like that, my response wouldn’t be anything like as considerate.
