Good news! I have been informed this week that BREEAM, the environmental assessment method for buildings, is being launched into the Gulf region.
This presumably means that we can now better keep track of exactly how green all these brand new kilometre-high skyscrapers being thrown up all over the UAE, funded by rich oil magnates, actually are!
I bet the polar bears will sleep better tonight for knowing that.
