Wind turbine hit by UFO

News of a wind turbine wrecked by a UFO nearly made me choke on my cuppa this morning. Apparently 'strange lights' were spotted before the 290ft turbine was struck at 4am yesterday.

The Sun reported that following the smash, no trace could be found of one of the turbines three 65ft blades.

Aside from the description by a local resident of the UFO as a "massive ball of light with tentacles", what made this so funny was the classic Sun Headline: E.T. Farm Harm!

Genius.
